PHOENIX -- A criminal complaint has been filed against the judge who ordered that a Maricopa County detention officer be jailed for contempt of court.
Judge Gary Donahoe is accused of hindering prosecution, obstruction of justice and bribery.
Last week, Donahoe was one of four Superior Court judges named in a federal racketeering suit filed by County Attorney Andrew Thomas and Sheriff Joe Arpaio. They are accused of hindering prosecution with respect to construction of a new $350 million Superior Court tower.
