Beef recall

Posted: Updated:

A California company is recalling beef products sold in Arizona because of possible salmonella contamination.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food, Safety, and Inspection Service says beef packers incorporated is pulling about 23,000 pounds of ground beef out of stores. Officials say the products were produced on Sept. 23 and have the code "est. 31913" printed on case code labels. Check with local retailer to see if you purchased any of the recalled beef.
