GOLD CANYON - Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Gold Canyon.

Lieutenant Tamatha Villar, with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, says an unknown male robbed a Chase bank on Thursday just before 4 p.m. The bank is located at 5305 S. Superstition Mountain Drive.

PCSO says the suspect held the bank teller at gunpoint as he demanded money. He is described as a male Caucasian wearing a blue denim shirt, faded black denim jeans and a baseball cap. At the time of the robbery he was also wearing a ski mask and gloves.

The suspect fled the scene after demanding the money and got into a getaway car driven by another person and headed eastbound. The vehicle is described by witnesses as a black older model Polaris Sportsman 700 ATV.
