GLENDALE -- Police arrested four suspects they say were involved in a purse snatching ring in Glendale and Phoenix.

Phoenix residents Charles Johnson, 25, Nacosha Purvis, 20, Ryan Lafond, 18, and Kunashawn Fairchild, 23, admitted to being involved in four purse snatching incidents in Glendale.

Police say from the end of September through October 2009, the suspects targeted women in parking lots and at bus stops, taking purses out of shopping carts and off one woman's shoulder.

Much of the stolen property was recovered at several locations in Phoenix.
