SURPRISE - Two men are in custody after allegedly robbing seven men inside an apartment.

It happened just before 8 p.m. on Friday at an apartment in the 15100 block of N. 140th Drive in Surprise.

Officers responded to an armed robbery call after seven males told police they had been held at gun point by two men known to the victims. The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Edward Richards and 27-year-old Michelle Hernandez.

Witnesses say Richards and Hernandez had been at the apartment earlier that day. When they went back to the scene they allegedly had a gun and struck one of the men before robbing the victims of possessions such as wallets, cell phones, keys and prescription medicine.
