PHOENIX -- Phoenix police arrested a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl last month.
The victim met with Jordan Mason, 34, at a drug store near Third Street and Bell Road at approximately 5 p.m. on Oct. 4, according to Officer James Holmes.
The teen told police that Mason had introduced himself as a "rapper" when they met that same day. She said Mason drove to a home in the area of 15th Avenue and Bell Road and sexually assaulted her.
Holmes said the victim was examined for injury and forensic evidence at the time of the report.
Detectives located Mason on Monday and the victim made a positive identification.
Holmes said Mason admitted to having consensual sex with the victim. He was booked for sexual misconduct with a minor.
Police are still investigating.
