Hunt on for Scottsdale bank robber, surveillance photos released

SCOTTSDALE -- Police in Scottsdale have released surveillance photos of the man they say robbed a Desert Schools Federal Credit Union Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at about 1 p.m. at the location near Hayden Road and Via de Ventura.

According to police, the man walked into the building and demanded cash from a teller. The teller gave the suspect money. The unidentified man then took off on foot. Investigators have not said how much the suspect got away with.

At no time did the man openly display a weapon.

The suspect is described as a white man between 30 and 40 years old. He's about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 180 pounds. He has short brown hair and appeared to be wearing a fake nose and mustache.

Police said the man has distinguishing red marks and pock marks on his face.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue or grey baseball hat, dark sunglasses, a blue pullover shirt and blue jeans.
