PHOENIX -- Firefighters were called out to a mobile home park in the are of Interstate 17 and Indian School Road after some trees and brush caught fire Tuesday morning.

The call came out at about 7 a.m.

Aerial video showed the flames threatening to spread to some of the trailers, which can burn very quickly. Firefighters could be seen going along the fence by the freeway to keep that from happening. A couple of the mobile homes did sustain some damage.

Heavy white smoke billowed over the northbound I-17 just north of Indian School Road as firefighters doused the flames.

Crews were able to contain the fire relatively quickly, but a smoke haze hovered over the freeway for quite some time.

No injuries were reported.
