CAMP VERDE, Ariz. -- On Monday morning, the Camp Verde Marshal's Office along with the Yavapai Apache Tribal Police responded to a report of a male subject with a weapon at Camp Verde High School.

The CVMO dispatch received a 911 call from a male subject who said that he was in the restrooms near the gym. The male also stated that he was "drugged up" and that he had a gun.

Robin Bruno with the Marshal's Office said the male never made threats toward himself or others, only that he was there and had the weapon.

Bruno said school officials immediately locked down the campus.

While CVMO dispatch was still on the phone with the individual trying to ascertain his exact location, a thorough search of the grounds was conducted with negative results.

Bruno said a search of the call history showed the call was made from a cell phone. It originated from the Casa Grande area and was transferred to the Marshal's Office from an unknown agency.

No injuries were reported. The incident is still under investigation.
