Arthur Espinoza, Nogales Community Food Bank, says the Nogales Community Food Bank has a new program.
He says a $12,784 grant from the First Things First initiative will allow the Food Bank
to give out free food boxes to underprivileged children, ages birth to
five. He says families in Nogales with children in this age group need
immediate assistance and these one-time emergency food grants will designed
help to combat hunger in working families and their children who are in need
due to  the economic crisis and recent state budget cuts.
