Because the H1N1 vaccine is in limited supply, it will only be available to: children 6 months to 18 years, pregnant women and caregivers of children under 6 months of age. The cost for the vaccine itself is free. There is an administration charge that is covered by most insurance plans, which is very similar to the seasonal flu. About 85 percent of patients will not have to pay anything. We do not know the cost of the charge if someone does not have any insurance but believe it would be the standard $25 to $30 charge. These H1N1 vaccines will be administered by The Mollen Clinic.
