AHS Pet of the Week - Indiana

Much like the Indiana Jones we all know, Indiana the Bombay mix is an action packed, thrill seeking kitty cat with an adventurous personality. This four-month-old “go-getter” loves to explore the world around him and he likes to get his whiskers into everything and investigate with his velvet paws.

Often times Indiana can be spotted rebounding off furniture, attempting feats beyond his capabilities and bouncing around the house with great enthusiasm. He just can’t resist pouncing on a toy mouse, or swatting at a ribbon that his human pal dangles in front of him. He loves to climb into empty paper bags or boxes, climb the different levels of the kitty condo and help his human companions with household chores.

Although Indiana is very outgoing and gregarious, will need a slow introduction to both his two-legged and four-legged family members.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 West Dobbins Road, Phoenix. During the month of October, AHS is having a Feline Adoption special and adult cats are only $10 while kittens like Indiana are only $15. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar, a pet carrier, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up exam. For more information, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal I.D. number A278223 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has dozens more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet.
