Arizona agency urges patience for swine flu vaccine

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX (AP) -- The state Department of Health Services says it's
getting a lot of calls from people seeking swine flu vaccine but
that they need to be patient.

Interim Director Will Humble says quantities of vaccine coming
into the state continue to grow, but slowly. In the meantime, the
department on Friday urged people to use good hygiene, including
covering coughs, washing hands and staying home when sick.

According to DHS, the only type of flu now circulating is the
swine flu. It says people shouldn't ask for a test because the
results won't affect treatment.

The department says it only tests the most severe cases and
fatalities.
