Arizona over instant replayPosted: Updated:
A few Arizona football players said Saturday night's loss at Washington was the toughest and wierdest they had ever experienced in their football careers-- that includes high school. Toughest because they did a lot of good things to be in position to win; wierdest because of the freakish interception that bounced off Delashaun Dean's foot and was returned for a touchdown that would eventually be the game-winner.
That play and a few other scenarios needed to be reviewed by the replay officials. And 48-hours later this is no debate, the players and coaches can do without the influence of instant replay.
