'Kill Obama' appears on political signs in Cave Creek

CAVE CREEK - Two political signs in Cave Creek were vandalized with a disturbing message involving President Barack Obama.

Deputies with the Maricopa County Sherrif's Office were called Thursday morning after two political signs were found with with the words "Kill Obama" sprayed in purple paint. The signs were displaying political views on Proposition 400, 401 and K3.

The first sign was discovered on the north side of Cave Creek Road and west of Galloway Drive. The second vandalized sign was in front of a business located in the 6600 block of East Cave Creek Road.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio says, "This is a complete disgrace and gross act towards our President. My deputies are looking into all avenues of the incident, as it is a top priority."

At this time there is no suspect information and no witnesses. Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office at (602) 876-1011.
