Help identify credit card thief caught on surveillance cameras

SCOTTSDALE - A man was caught on surveillance cameras using a stolen credit card on Wednesday.

This happened shortly after a woman was attacked in her driveway and her purse was stolen.

During the attack, the 75-year-old victim was reportedly struck from behind and fell to the floor. The suspect then took her purse and fled the scene. The woman suffered a cut on her face and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

Police need help identifying the man seen in the surveillance photos at the convenience store near 32nd Street and Van Buren. He was seen wearing light blue clothing, carrying a red back pack and had gold dental work.

Scottsdale Police officers want to talk to the person in the photos. Anyone with information is asked to call Scottsdale police at (480) 312-5000 or call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
