Queen Creek grandpa allegedly molests family members

QUEEN CREEK - A man was arrested at his Queen Creek home after allegations that he sexually molested two of his family members who are minors.

Harold Whittle, 60, was taken into custody and faces two counts of child molestation. He is being held without bond in the Fourth Avenue jail.

Polilce say the investigation started on Monday when another family member reported the two minors had been victimized by Whittle.

During subsequent interviews, deputies say another victim came forward that is not living in Arizona anymore. Detectives became aware that Whittle had been arrested in Utah in 2005 for "lascivious acts" againt a hild living next door.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio say, 'This is the worst act agains the innocent child a person can make. I don't care if he's a millionare or if he has a private jet, he belongs in jail."

Detectives believe there are more victims that have not come forward. Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to call the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office at (602) 876-1011.
