UPDATE -- Monday, Oct. 12:
SCOTTSDALE -- A Scottsdale man reported missing since August has been found safe.
Police said David Moore called his relatives and has been re-united with them.
They were concerned and told officers he had been depressed when he vanished this summer.
It's not clear where he's been, but apparently he voluntarily lost touch with his family.
SCOTTSDALE -- A missing man's family is desperate for the public's help to find their son.
David Moore, 37, disappeared this summer. He moved out of his last known residence in Scottsdale in June and then spoke briefly to his father in August.
Moore's father contacted police after six weeks went by without any contact. "I last heard from my son about a month and a half ago and it was a very brief conversation, and it seemed normal, and I asked him to stay in touch, and also asked if he needed any help financially to please let me know" said Moore's father.
David Moore was unemployed and is allegedly suffering from depression. According to his father, he also has also stopped paying all of his bills. His 2006 black Honda Accord is missing as well.
