PHOENIX -- Phoenix police say a man has been arrested in the slaying of a pregnant woman four months ago.

Police say 33-year-old Alacia Robinson was found murdered on Phoenix roadway on May 31 although investigators believe she was killed somewhere else and her body was dumped.

Investigators also determined that Robinson was five months pregnant when she was killed.

Police say 42-year-old Rudolph Cano was identified as a suspect in the case through forensic evidence by the Phoenix police crime lab and he was arrested Thursday.

Police say Cano has been booked into the Maricopa County Jail on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of sexual assault. One of the murder counts is for Robinson's unborn child.
