PHOENIX (AP) -- Ryan Braun homered, doubled and drove in three runs to help the Milwaukee Brewers break out of a week-long hitting slump with a 6-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night.
Braun hit a two-run line drive homer down the right-field line in the first inning off Doug Davis (7-13) and doubled in Mike Cameron in the third. It was Braun's 29th homer of the season and 100th of his career.
McGehee singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth, driving in Braun in the third as the Brewers took a 5-0 lead.
Milwaukee (67-73) broke a three-game losing streak and won for the only second time in seven games after scoring 10 runs in its previous six.
