Scooby

Hi everyone! I'm a sweet little boy!

I love to romp all over the yard! My favorite toy is the tennis ball. If you throw it for me, I like to chase it down. Sometimes I'll bring it back; other times I like to play keep away.

I can catch a ball on the bounce or straight out of the air!

I like to hang out with my other dog friends though I'm not too much of a player.

I sure hope you will come down to the adoption center to take a peek at me!

I'll be waiting!

Scooby might already be adopted, but for more information please call 602-273-6852 or visit www.AAWL.org.

The Arizona Animal Welfare League is open Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. We are located at 30 N. 40th Place in Phoenix.

AAWL is the state’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter. Each animal is pre-screened by a pet behavior specialist and veterinarian. All dogs and cats have been spayed or neutered, are updated on their shots and will go home with a microchip inserted. Adoption fees and pet pictures and profiles are listed at www.AAWL.org, and all dogs and cats are ready for adoption immediately!

AAWL provides adoption, resource and education programs that improve the quality of life for dogs and cats. AAWL's shelter facilities provide a temporary home for nearly 2,400 dogs and cats every year, offering medical and behavioral treatment for those in need. Founded in 1971 by Amanda Blake, "Miss Kitty" of TV's "Gunsmoke" fame, AAWL's priority is to take in adoptable animals from other shelters where they might be euthanized and to care for them until each is adopted into a loving, lifetime home. AAWL receives no government funding and is supported solely by donations and memberships.
