PHOENIX - A fuel leak led to hundreds of people being evacuated from a building in central Phoenix.
800 evacuated from central Phx high rise - A diesel fuel leak forced hundreds of people out of a Phoenix high rise.
The diesel fuel leak was on Wednesday at the SCF building, which is the company that services the State's Workers Compensation Fund.
Employees reportedly complained of a foul odor. One person was taken to the hospital and 15 others said they felt sick.
Preliminary details reveal 800 people were evacuated and went home for the day.
Fire crews are trying to repair the diesel fuel leak but they are unsure what caused the leak. The investigation continues.
