Andrew Thomas considering run for attorney general? - Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas could be considering another run for attorney general.
Thomas reportedly has put together an exploratory committee to look at the support he might have.
If he does choose to run, it would not be the first time. Thomas, a Republican, ran for the position once before, losing to democrat Terry Goddard in 2002.
Term limits will keep Goddard out of the race this time.
State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horn and Rep. Sam Crump, both Republicans, are also considering throwing their hats into the rings.
Thomas has until next May to formally announce his candidacy.
