According to investigators, two armed men broke into an apartment in the area of 49th Avenue and Thomas Road at about 4:30 a.m.

A woman was home alone with her 1-year-daughter at the time. Her husband reportedly had just left for work.

The men tied up the woman with duct tape and then ransacked the apartment. They eventually took off with nearly $4,000 in cash.

It took the woman about an hour to work her way out of the duct tape. She then called the police.

Investigators said the suspects, two Hispanic men in their early 30s, were seen driving away in a white truck.

Neither the woman nor her child was hurt.
