Phoenix man arrested for indecent exposure on Sedona trailPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- A Phoenix man was arrested after two sisters say he exposed his genitals and touched one of them inappropriately near Sedona Monday afternoon.
The 26- and 27-year-old sisters, who are from Oregon, told Yavapai County sheriff's deputies that the incident occurred at the Boynton Canyon Trailhead outside of Sedona.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, the man approached the older sister, who was bending over to tie her shoes, and rubbed his exposed genitalia against her buttocks. Both sisters yelled at him to get away and he left the area in his car.
The women provided a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle. He was found within 20 minutes and was identified as Joshua Lee Boyd, 30.
YCSO spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said Boyd admitted inappropriate contact with the two victims. He also acknowledged drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana the previous evening.
Boyd was arrested and booked for two counts of public sexual indecency, two counts of indecent exposure and DUI/drugs.
