So, if you really enjoy learning little tidbits or finding some great, useful finds take a peek at the segment. In the meantime, here's the information about the items I showed.

Make Your Own Lipstick Palette I purchased a Proart Folding Palette Box at Arizona Art Supply for about $3.99. They have 3 locations in the Valley, 10869 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, 4025 N. 16th Street, Phoenix and 10659 West Grand Avenue in Sun City. This was the least expensive of all the choices. You can spend more and make an even fancier palette if you desire.

A Great Pink Lipstick for a Great Cause L'Oreal Cosmetics has put out a couple of colors of lipstick, one of which I just love and had the share the scoop with you. It's that great natural pink color - not too brown, not too bright - that I've looked for forever. This is just my personal opinion, but this color is really nice and easy to wear. There's also another shade that's a little more brown-peach if that suits you better.

But, the bonus on this product is that a portion of the price goes to Ovarian Cancer research.

L'Oreal calls the color "Color of Hope" #531. I found it at Walgreen's in the cosmetic display area where they place limited time offers.

A Perfect Floral Gift Solution How many times have you struggled with how to present flowers to someone without having to go to the larger expense of a pre-made arrangement or just handing them a bouquet without a vase?

Here's a workable solution and a great idea. The Vazu Flower Vase. It looks like a flat plastic bag but it expands into a reusable vase when you pour in water! Genius. I found them at Albertson's for $2.99.

Biscuit Love My brother John just ordered these for me, as a gift and boy are they yummy! They're handmade and come directly from Charleston, South Carolina. They run around $18 for a delectable dozen and are perfect for those special occasions or treat. If you love southern style biscuits - they're delicious.

I recommend the Country Ham and the Cheese and Chive! They also make homemade shortcakes - I'm going to try warming them up and topping with strawberries and whipped cream - can't wait.

Find them at www.calliesbiscuits.com.

Julia Child's Wisdom I really enjoyed the movie Julie and Julia and so I had to test out some of her tips. And one of her best is how to remove onion smell from your fingers. Try it - it worked for me. Rub your fingers and hands with coarse salt really well. Rub it in and scrub your fingers well. Then rinse in cold water. This worked better than most other kitchen wisdom on this topic. Hope it works for you!

I'm back to the drawing board in search of more great tips and tricks - stay tuned!
