MESA - A man helped deliver his own daughter as he and his wife were on their way to a Valley hospital early Friday morning.

With the help of a 911 operator, Cassie and Ian Millar were able to deliver their baby on the side of a Valley freeway.
Cassie gave birth to Kynzie while on Highway 60 at Stapley Road at about 1:30 a.m. The couple was en route to Banner Desert Medical Center when the baby was ready to be born.
Ian said the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck, but the 911 operator walked him through how to take it off.
Kynzie was born weighing 8 pounds and is 20 inches long. She has two siblings.
Cassie's due date was on Labor Day.
