Dog shot by arrow, duct taped, is recoveringPosted: Updated:
TUCSON -- Pima County authorities want to find those responsible for shooting a dog with an arrow.
Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Dawn Barkman said the female chocolate lab was wounded in the side with the arrow and had duct tape around her mouth.
A woman called 911 Sunday to report seeing the dog in a neighborhood near South Kinney Road and West Ajo Highway.
The dog has been turned over to Animal Care and Control.
The sheriff's office said it's looking for the dog's owner and the person who injured her.
