Clothing Bank in need of donationsPosted: Updated:
The Tucson Unified School District's Clothing Bank is running short on clothing for young children who wear sizes 6 through 14. " We need to get some jeans in, some shorts, some tops - gently used items," said Clothing Bank Manager Chris Molina. "I try to give one used pair and one new pair so everyone goes home with a new and a used pair of jeans."
The Clothing Bank provides clothes to TUSD students who receive free or reduced-cost lunches. Clothing donations are taken between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Clothing Bank which is located at 606 South Plumer Avenue, or at the TUSD Welcome Center at 75 North Park Avenue. Monetary donations can be sent to TUSD Financial Services, Morrow Education Center, 1010 East 10th Street, Building B, Tucson, AZ 85719.
