Marijuana worth $700,000 seized near Naco

Border Patrol Agents from the Naco Station were able to stop a pickup truck loaded with over 900 pounds of marijuana on Sunday, December 14. The vehicle had entered the U.S. illegally through an access gate on the International Boundary Fence that was under construction.

The passenger of the vehicle was arrested after he was found hiding nearby. A search of the truck revealed a false compartment in the bed that had 52 bundles of marijuana worth over $700,000 concealed within it.
