A 40-year old former Nogales Police Officer has been sentenced to 9-and-a-half years in prison. Ramon Borbon was found guilty last month of sexual assault, kidnapping, sexual abuse and obstructing a criminal investigation.
At the sentencing hearing, Santa Cruz County Superior Court Judge James Sota called Borbon "a stain on the community." The case was tried in Pima County Superior Court after a mistrial in May in Santa Cruz County.
