New traffic enforcement takes in $3 million

It was a change meant to make Tucson's streets safer, not make money. But Fox 11 News has learned that in the past year, Red Light Cameras and the Police Photo Radar Van have raked in $3 million in revenue for the city of Tucson, although the city has been adamant that increasing revenue was not the reason for the new technology.

We're still awaiting more information from the city, but we believe the $3 million the city has collected in the past year is just part of the total revenue, with some going to the state and some to the company that set up and maintains the cameras.
