The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is warning registered voters in southern Arizona about a new identity theft scam. According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), people have been receiving unsolicited phone calls and emails from someone claiming to represent their local election board or another civic group. The recipient is asked to provide their Social Security or credit card numbers to confirm their eligibility or registration to vote.
