Man arrested after dragging officer with his car

A 32-year old man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly dragging a Tucson Police Officer alongside his vehicle after the officer had pulled him over for a traffic stop. Dangelo Walker is charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, endangerment, and unlawful flight.

The officer followed Walker to East 16th Street and South Craycroft Road, where Walker ran a stop sign and collided with another car. Walker was arrested and the driver of the other car was not injured. The officer was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released for his injuries.
