The investigation is underway into what killed an 8-year old boy at Reid Park on Friday, July 25. Electricity was the cause of death, but officials are trying to determine where it came from.
There is a company located in Tucson that keeps track of every lightning hit in the world. Vaiselia's National Detection Network says there were seven strikes within three miles of the ball field in the nine minutes before that 911 call Friday night. The last one was the closest - just 100 yards from the field.
