Tucson man named in multiple indictmentsPosted: Updated:
A 46-year old Tucson man is named in three separate indictments handed down by a federal grand jury on drug, fraud, and firearms charges. Robert Ergonis is being held in the Pima County Jail on unrelated kidnapping and assault charges.
The 2-count firearms indictment alleges that in February of 2008, Ergonis, a convicted felon, unlawfully possessed seven firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. A conviction for these crimes carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison, a $4 million fine, or both.
