Tucson reaction to President's speech mixed

President Bush spoke to the nation on Wednesday, September 24, stating his case for the $700 billion Wall Street bailout that he has asked Congress to pass. People around Tucson watched the President on television, listening to his arguments. Some people watched closely, while others ate dinner and didn't pay much attention at all.

Meanwhile, over at the Viscount Suites Hotel on Broadway, visitors in the lobby bar watched the President explain how we got into the financial crisis, and gave us their reaction to it. One man said he agrees with the President's plan, but wants to make sure no one on Wall Street profits off taxpayer dollars.
