Thanksgiving travelers find a few surprisesPosted: Updated:
Traditionally, the day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and this year travelers found a few new surprises were in store for them. For one thing, there aren't as many planes flying this year compared to the past. Meanwhile, the Department of Public Safety is using a high tech method to keep drivers obeying the speed limit.
The Southern Arizona DUI Task Force will be out this weekend looking for drunk drivers. As for the photo radar vans, you'll only see them on the freeways on November 26 until 11 p.m. DPS will analyze the data and determine at a later date when to redeploy the vans.
