UA murder case goes to jury

Posted: Updated:

In a courtroom surprise on Thursday, September 18, attorneys representing former UA student Galareka Harrison decided not to call any witnesses in her murder trial defense. This after the prosecution offered up a pretty convincing case for the jury.

The case is now in the jury's hands. They'll decide whether or not Harrison is guilty of premeditated first-degree murder. Harrison's attorney says she acted in self-defense. The prosecution says she planned to kill Mia Henderson. Jury deliberations begin on Friday, September 19.
