The mask-wearing armed men went into the shop near 41st Avenue and Indian School Road late Sunday morning.

One of the two men was holding a 15-year-old employee at gunpoint by the front door. Sgt. Andy Hill of the Phoenix Police Department said that's when the store's manager pulled out a handgun and fired several shots.

One of the suspects, a 21-year-old, was hit in the head. At last check, he was in extremely critical condition.

The other suspect took off in a customer's car, a 1996 green custom-painted Suburban with the Arizona license plate AFC5540. Anybody who sees that vehicle should call 911 immediately.
