PHOENIX -- Enraged bees strike again for the third time in five days.

The latest attack occurred in east Phoenix near 28th Street and Indian School Road early Monday.

Phoenix Fire Department paramedics transported a woman to a hospital after she was stung several times. Paramedics believe she should be OK.

Last Wednesday, about an hour apart.

An 85-year-old man was stung at least 75 times when he used a shop vac to try to suck up bees from a hive in a tree, and an 81-year-old woman was swarmed by bees on her back porch.

Phoenix fire officials strongly recommend that people stay away from hives and instead let professional bee keepers handle it.
