PHOENIX -- Four women were taken to the hospital after an early morning wreck that blocked the Light Rail tracks in Central Phoenix Thursday morning.

Light Rail running again after wreck on tracks - Four women were taken to the hospital after an early morning wreck that blocked the Light Rail tracks in Central Phoenix Thursday morning.
It happened shortly before 6 a.m. at 16th and Washington streets and involved two vehicles.
Two of the women were in serious condition when they were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. The other two women suffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Luke's Hospital.
Aerial video showed one of the vehicles sitting on the Light Rail tracks. The Light Rail was closed for a little more than an hour.
Once a tow truck hauled those vehicles from the scene, Light Rail maintenance technicians got to work, making sure everything was safe for the trains to resume operation.
Everything was back open by 7 a.m.
