Lawmakers consider selling House and Senate for funds

PHOENIX - Things are getting so bad that there is a new house on the market.

It is actually, the House and the Senate. Desperate for cash, lawmakers are considering selling the Capitol and then leasing them back over several years before assuming ownership again.

Dozens of other state buildings are facing the same fate. State government services would reportedly continue uninterrupted while picking up an estimated $735 million.
