PHOENIX -- A debris fire in the river bottom kept Phoenix firefighters busy early Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out near Seventh Avenue and Broadway Road at about 4 a.m., scorching about two acres.

Crews had a rough time getting everything under control because there was no water supply nearby.

It took 35 firefighters to finally knock it down.

It's not known what sparked the fire.
