Tucson ice cream vendor hit by gunfirePosted: Updated:
TUCSON -- A Tucson ice cream man is recovering after he was shot in the stomach on the city's south side.
Police think robbery was the motive for the Sunday evening shooting near I-19 and Valencia.
The ice cream truck driver went to University Medical Center initially with life-threatening injuries, but is now in serious condition and is expected to live.
Shortly after the shooting police believe the same suspect robbed another person in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call 88-Crime.
