There is absolutely nothing better to add to your wardrobe than one wonderful key piece of clothing that screams "I love clothes" or I know what I'm doing with this fashion thing on some days.

A great way to do that is to find a great boutique and invest in a really cool really amazing piece of clothing or a fun accessory that becomes your signature. Celebrities do this with panache - it's time we ordinary folks do the same.
So, in my quest for great shopping destinations, I bring you only a few of the items available at the 2008 Boutique of the Year according to the New Times. Frances! You have got to visit. Allow some time to wander through the home dcor, accessories, kid's stuff and of course, signature-clothing items.
Our first model Jane, representing the 40 something set, was wearing Odd Molly (from Sweden) 100% cotton halter blue and cream batik print dress for $200. Underneath, she was wearing a navy cotton tank top from Johnny Was for $40.00. This is a terrific way to wear a halter if you don't want to show your arms. Plus, accessories always brighten up the outfit. She wore rose earrings for $12.00 and a variety of acrylic bracelets for $10.00 each. A fun and inexpensive way to update your wardrobe is by adding fun colorful accessories.
She is carrying a plastic market tote for $35.00 and a yellow rose ring made by local jewelry designer Lilli Nerini for $30.00. The Rose ring is so fun, they are similar to what you would find on a cake and painted with nail polish for the shine and strength.
Jane's second outfit is an amazing Odd Molly silk-tiered skirt for $150.00 with a navy cotton tank from Johnny Was for $40.00. She is accessorized with a turquoise Cleobella leather clutch for $140.00, colorful wooden earrings for $12.00 an incredible Lili Nerini rose ring for $30.00 and a variety of Alex and Ani bangles ranging in prices from $10.00 - $35.00 each.
Cassie our second model, representing the 20 something in all of us, was wearing two adorable outfits. The first was a yellow cotton top from Hazel, it is $80.00 and black Free People shorts that look like a skirt and are $88.00. She is wearing a Tano apple green leather tote/bag that is $220.00 with black plastic bracelets that are $10.00 each. Vintage rose earrings for $60.00 and black Matt Bernson Love Sandals for $130.00.
Cassie's second outfit is an Awareknits grey strapless dress for $80.00. Awareknits is a local clothing line made from recycled clothing. The yellow button details are adorable. She is also wearing TOMS yellow and striped canvas shoes for $60.00, For every pair of Toms shoes sold, a pair of shoes is given to a child that does not have shoes. Cassie accessorized her outfit with 3 shell bracelets for $15.00 each, a shell ring for $10.00 a straw beach tote for $20.00 and a local artist Liz Norris' shell necklace for $125.00. If you need or want a little more coverage, picture this topping a great pair of skinny jeans and paired with a denim jacket or a short sleeved cardigan. Fun!
