Arizona State's Harden to declare for NBA draftPosted: Updated:
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- As expected, Arizona State's James Harden will declare himself available for the NBA draft.
The school scheduled a news conference today for Harden to make the announcement.
The 6-foot-5 sophomore this season was the first Arizona State player to be chosen to first-team All-American by The Associated Press. Harden averaged 20.1 points, 5.6 rebound and 4.2 assists per game.
The 19-year-old guard-forward led Arizona State to 25 victories and a berth in the NCAA tournament.
