TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Arizona State men's basketball team will open its season on November 14th with a home game against Mississippi Valley State.

The school released the schedule yesterday.

ASU's home schedule includes 15 games, with non-conference games against Pepperdine, Jackson State, Nebraska, Idaho State and Central Connecticut State.

The Sun Devils also will host IUPUI at US Airways Center in Phoenix and BYU at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale -- the first college basketball game to be played at that venue.

ASU's game at US Airways Center is part of a double-header also featuring a game between Arizona and Gonzaga.

The game in Glendale is part of another double-header with the other game between Louisville and Minnesota.

ASU opens Pac-10 play on January 2nd at Stanford.
