NEW YORK (AP) -- Arizona State University is ranked 15th in the latest Associated Press college football rankings after knocking off Northern Arizona University Saturday 30-13.

Pac 10 rival Southern California is number one. The Trojans jumped two spots from their pre-season ranking on the strength of a dominant performance on the road against a BCS conference opponent. USC opened with a 52-7 victory at Virginia.

Georgia and Ohio State each dropped a spot to second and third, respectively, following easy wins at home over lesser programs.
