Ducks, Devils ready to meet in the Pac-10Posted: Updated:
TEMPE -- When Arizona State played Oregon last November, the game pitted two Top 10 teams on national television.
The rematch on Saturday night at Sun Devil Stadium will be a different story. For starters, it's not being televised live. And neither team is within a toll call of the Top 10.
The Ducks (5-2, 3-1 Pac-10) are in a four-way tie for first place in the Pac-10 but have already lost to co-leader USC.
Arizona State (2-4, 1-2) is riding a four-game losing streak.
Oregon has looked shaky in recent weeks, with losses to Boise State and USC wrapped around victories over Washington State and UCLA.
The Sun Devils, meanwhile, have collapsed under the weight of preseason expectations. Arizona State opened the season ranked 15th but has dropped four straight, beginning with an unthinkable overtime home loss to UNLV on Sept. 13.
The Sun Devils' last victory was 47 days ago -- a 41-17 victory over Stanford on Sept. 6.
